Happy Harmon in Hudson Victory Lane!
Hudson, NH- The New England Dwarf Car Series Present by Construction Site Machinery and Bumpy’s Auto Service of Salem, NH made a stop this past weekend at the Original Family Fun track, Hudson Speedway! With the season winding down and the battle for the championship looking to come to a close and the winner of the fire suit from Accelo Racewear is determined we had 18 cars in the pits.
Andrew Harmon in car #14 paced the first practice while Tom Harwood in the #29 lead the way in the 2nd round. Harmon would go on to win heat race #1 and Chris Sullivan in the 0No took the win in heat #2.
Sullivan rocketed out to the lead at the drop of the green. The caution would fly on lap 11 as the 23 of Jeremy Rodimon came to rest against the infield wall in turn 2. Sullivan would resume his lead on the restart despite the challenges from Ryan Carman in the 08.
The caution would fly one last time on lap 22 and this was not what Sullivan wanted to see. On the restart Sullivan would be joined on the front row by Harmon. Harmon took the lead into turn 1 and held on to take the win. Cody Hodgdon in the 31 quietly worked his way through the field and took the 2nd spot. Sullivan having one of his best runs of the season was relegated to finish 3rd. Time Harwood made a last corner move to finish 4th and Ryan Carman rounded out the top 5!
